Dental Certificate Facts

As of September 1, 2008 - New York State will require that schools request a dental certificate from each student upon entry into a school, or upon entry into grades pre-K or K, 2, 4, 7, and 10, or within thirty days thereafter.

Since the requirement is only for the schools to request a dental certificate, students will be permitted to attend school regardless of whether or not they have a dental certificate.
