The mentorship is every day. If they have exciting data, we look at it. I come up with a project at the beginning. I give them a choice of two different projects. In the beginning it’s more from me but as they become more experienced then they put their own stamp on it.
The most important thing in science is publications. It’s the currency. So I try very hard to make sure that every project has a publication in view, and what’s the best way to get there.
