Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGPBS)
The Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGPBS) offers students a unique opportunity to experience laboratory rotations with faculty members across departmental lines following the first year of studies before selecting a PhD mentor. Once "matched" with a mentor, the student matriculates in the department of their research mentor (major professor) and completes additional departmental requirements and a dissertation project under the direction of the student's dissertation advisory committee.
