Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Assistant Professor, Oral Diagnostic Sciences.
Dr. Tapia received his D.D.S degree from Faculty of Odontology, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 1993. He bacame a faculty member at UNAM in 1995. He studied the Advanced Education Program in Oral Pathology in Mexico (1996-1998). He completed the Advanced Education Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and earned his M.S. degree in the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2003. Dr. Tapia has been a full-time faculty member at SUNY at Buffalo since June 2008.
