Ms. Evege-Thompson is currently the Assistant Chief Financial Officer for the School of Dental Medicine. Her primary responsibilities are "All Funds" Budget management, internal management reporting, and New York State Department of Health Article 28 reporting.
Ms. Evege-Thompson joined the University in 1994 as the Assistant Endowment Fund Accountant. In her capacity, she served as the Institutional and Emergency Loan Manager and prepared reports to the SUNY Board of Trustees and other state agencies on the SUNY-Wide Investments. In addition to UB, Ms. Evege also has corporate, non-profit, and small business experience.
Her service to the university includes: serving as a UB 101 Instructor, a Professional Staff Senator, a Staff Development and Minority Affairs Committee member at the School of Dental Medicine.
Ms. Evege-Thompson is also an active member of her community. She has served as President, VP of Operations, and Leaders of Tomorrow Program Coordinator for the WNY Chapter of the National Black MBA Association and is a member of the National Association for Female Executives – CWO Phase II.
