Syllabi for Removable Prosthodontics

At the UB-School of Dental Medicine, in the DDS program, learning information in removable prosthodontics are in two levels. The first exposure is during preclinical level in the second year of dental education. Both didactic and practical exercises on a manikin head are given simultaneously throughout the year. This is to prepare students to become ready for patient treatment in the third year. The information pertaining to this aspect is in RDN 823, 824, 825 and 826. These courses are prerequisites for students prior to entering the clinical phase of the removable prosthodontics.

For clinical removal prosthodontics, the study is composed of two components, the didactic and the clinical practice on life patients. The information on didactic portion can be found in RDN 837 and RDN 838, and the clinical practice can be found in RDN 839.
