The clinical observation program allows those interested in pursuing a career in dentistry, the opportunity to observe the delivery of patient care by third and fourth year dental students in the clinics of the School of Dental Medicine. The program is intended to familiarize participants with the full scope of clinical dentistry and allow them to gain a sense of the knowledge and skill necessary to deliver patient care. Through interaction with dental students, they will also be able to appreciate the effort and commitment necessary to complete DDS curriculum.
